TIKRIT, Iraq
With assistance from international police advisers, Task Force Danger is conducting a cohort training class for the Samarra police department Feb. 3 to Feb. 17.
The class is designed to foster team building and enhance the survivability of the Samarra police department.
Task Force Danger hopes to achieve a permanent police force of 1,200 officers that are well trained and equipped to take on the responsibility of providing security in Samarra and defeat any anti-Iraqi forces.
